Thursday Thinker

It's time for Thursday Thinker and this week I am thinking...

I am glad I have passed on my knowledge!

This is a South Korean Special Forces soldier on an Anti-Terrorism exercise yesterday. Maybe he is training to take out Jackson Pollocks? Anyhow, he is giving it some special forces action to a load of glass bottles. In Britain's Special Air Service this sort of thing is called C.Q.B or close quarters battle which is a euphemism for actually taking someone out up close and personal with or without a gun . Without in this case, clearly.

I bet this chap's wife had a go at him about not getting his uniform in soak straight away.

The writing on his Bandanna translates at 'Thank you BS5, Jedi Master'

Your washing comment rings with sexism!!;)

Have you seen my Pollock at the bottom of MFS? You can make one of your own and I DO know how you LOVE modern art (Tee, hee) so go and have a play sometime. You can bring your friend here with you if you like!

I am thinking...

Why is he wearing camouflage on his face, if he is practicing close quarters. Surely you'd just be able to see him, he'd be standing right in front of you.

At at at at at at at at...

Very true walsharoo... I was thinking the same thing... but you beat me to it. Nice machine gun raport by the way.

I think he doesn't look like he's having that much fun. I mean, if he's able to shoot a weapon and wear camo and blow things up that go splat... he should be smiling.

PS... BS5, any superhero powers used yesterday? I had to use my power of flight to catch a person from falling from the scaffolding last night. It was close. Whew!

I seriously thought that the pic was from one of those Asian game shows so I will take your word for it.

What kind of camo is that?

Hi all, I got the pic from the BBC news website 'Day in Pictures' section if you want to verify it! :)

Sub - me, sexist? Surely not (luv).

Walshers - aye he'd be right there but maybe he needed the camo' gear to sneak up on you in the first place?

Alaina, some small super power usage which involved a bit of time space warping in order to get a parking space at Sainsbury's next week when I am going to forget to buy milk and will need to nip back during mental hour.

PS Sub, yes I had a play at your Jackson P site last week and enjoyed it! It's the only tolerable modern art I know.

Scarogosun, I can't discuss the camo' type with you because I'd be giving away Korean secrets!

Ah... Day in Pictures... was wondering where you saw your great art pieces to deck out your blog.

Oh I only get pics there once a month or so! Zillions of good other places and things to save from all over the web.
