Horse

It's only been Friday since I got up to go to the office but even with a few days' absence from this routine, I noticed a real difference in the light today when I woke before 6. Light as you like and a really warm and summery potential to the day. I love days when you can sense good weather to come in the morning air. Cup of tea on the wall to follow, whilst polishing up my shoes.

I am pretty sure I heard a horse clip clop past the house at half five but it may have been a dream (this is BS5). Bristol has lots of horses and the police use them all the time, especially on Football days but here in BS5 our police visitations are normally of the helicopter variety. Anyhow, I reckon it was a horse on its way to work at half five and that's the story I'm telling.

I have a 1:1 with my boss today and she is a decent boss at that, so I hope it goes practically.

Here's to a cheery day. It was also sprinkling this morning. Just enough to give it a nice rain smell. I love the smell of rain.

If I woke up to the sound of a horse walking down the street I don't know what I'd do. That'd be weird. I think it'd be against the law here.

We have horses trotting down our Avenue most weekends because there is a riding stables in the woods nearby. I love to hear them, it feels like being in the country. When the children were small I would get them to come to the window and watch, I am still enthusiastically shouting, 'It's the horses', but now they just give me 'the look'!

Hope all goes well with your boss

Hope the 1:1 does well. We have a horse and trap go thru our neighborhood on nice days during the weekend. They are from one of the farms close by and it is so nice to hear the familiar clip-clop. Drives G-dog nuts though. :) I think she is scared of horses.

Hi all, great horse comments! Against the law Alaina?

1:1 with my kind and thoughtful boss (Carol) was tops. Went really well. Went very fast also but plenty of 'good job!' sentiments.

I have an appointment to sit on my wall now. Seeya later!

What does it mean to "sit on the wall"?

~befuddled in USA

Not a euphemism at all, Befuddled of the USA. After work I like to sit on my wall with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. I will post a pic' of it for you to see.
