Safely home via the Trousers.

The weekend feels back in some sort of order after Seamus et al blasted in and put regular plans on hold! I woke early today and had a very clear head today! I think this was down to my choice of walking home and getting some air and light rain for 25 minutes. Of course having Drinking trousers on two nights in a row always makes for a safe night home.

On chatting to Alice last night, I found out she worked in a pub in Cheltenham that I used to go in a good bit, and from where I once liberated a bar-stool. Alice was good company but was clearly making a bee-line for Wexford!

When I got in at 01.10 I blogged a little and then did the washing up, tidied the kitchen and put on more laundry. I am quite domesticated but seem to have a keenness to clean the house when I am a little bit sloshed.

The fellas are getting trains for ferries in a little bit to be back in Clongeen for 6. For me the usual Sunday routine follows. I think I will pick up a decent Sunday newspaper (and save it for a no-school Monday) to read all about politics and Gordon's woes.

I reckon the senior ladies at church will use their special 'old lady radar' to detect the fact that I have spent much of the weekend in the pub.

What's the difference betwixt trousers and pants?

Hi Scargosun. I am so excited about having Monday of that I am up now at 3.30 am to enjoy it!

Alaina, trousers on the outside, pants underneath. I think Americans use the words interchangeably but to an English chap, pants are only to be revealed on getting under the duvet with someone to whom you enjoy showing and sharing all things! In my case Sam Power or Erin O'Connor when they pop round.

Too funny. I believe we call those boxers.
