Thank you!

Quick post and back on line in a couple of hours. Here's a few people I'd like to thank:

1) Suburbia- what a lovely comment today - thank you!

2) The man in the van on Coronation Rd going the other way in our shared MEGA traffic jam 20 minutes ago. He told me which roads my way were busy - took an alternative route and home in no time!

3) The marketing departments who worked together to ensure another load of old codswallop through the letterbox today. Yeah, I really, really need a conservatory, a Volkswagen and 10 % off at the new nail salon.

Seeya later!

Love those ads. They are wasting valueable resources... and by that I mean creative intelligent people who's talents are ruined on fliers and pamphlets to talk people into buying something they A) Don't need B) Can't afford C) Both of the above.

How bad is traffic there normally? Like, how long does it take you to travel 5 miles on average?

Two things to say to that.
1 White van man is rarely that thoughtful!
2 my junk mail consisted of a thin catalogue for Cadbury Garden Centre! No really!

Cooooooooool! Don't believe the hype!

Hey if you like any of it let me know.

The girl on the hammock sits near me in the office and we had to airbrush wine bottles from the outside table shots after they had been taken.

Marketing!

Ooooooo! I LOVE the ads I get for roofing and glassed in additions and tooth whitening.
Not
It's a good thing we recycle b/c the amount of crap I get as junk mail is atrocious.

Hey Alaina,

Traffic in Bristol is a bit stuck at rush hour but not too bad. I travel 14 miles to work and it takes maybe 35 minutes or 40, the majority of that is the city bit then it's a free run.

Scargosun's sister in London (for example) could probably double that, and then some.
