Thursday Thinker 9

I haven't done a Thursday Thinker in a while but then a Blog shouldn't always stick to convention.

Anyhow, as I type this morning on a grey but dry Bristol day I am thinking 'Should I grab a Historic Motorbike and leave in a flurry of chaos?'

You see, next week I am representing my boss at a garden centre awards do at the National Motorcycle Museum near the NEC in Birmingham. We are up for a gong or two and I wrote the copy for quite a lot of the nominations. I could either network a little, enjoy an idle day with a slightly free lunch, or go out with a right old caper on a WWII motorbike!

If this is a Thursday thinker (which I can't tell from your post), then I am thinking...

Warning, Stop.

Not sure why though.

You are off to get an award even though your days are numbered? That's a bit of a cheek isn't it, asking you to do that? Or maybe not. Anyway, the motorbike option would probably be more fun!

I vote for door number two. You are leaving anyway. ;)

Hi all - Walshers, yes it's a subliminal post!

Sub -I don't think it's a cheek on my boss's behalf - she knows I am hacked off about leaving a good role but she trusts me to represent her and I think that is flattering. Also, it is a lark and a jolly and a day out, and lastly, one never knows what sort of Operations Directors one might meet from other firms.

Hey Miss America - maybe just a small motorbike stunt then.
