Job Apps stuff.

Three exciting roles in The Telegraph today, working for The Royal Mail. The blurb says positions are nationwide and RM is huge in Bristol so that's definitely worth a shot. Salary exceeds age - also a good yardstick and where I am aiming.

I wonder if one gets a shiny red van?

I have been in a grimy white van today and have parked it up in Herefordshire to take a BS5 pint with HR9 (also known as Dad). I am glad I am here to see the folks but I have also now seen said RM job opportunity and will apply shortly.

I had another good day's work, wrapping projects up in a store and working with a nice woman I will recommend to take the projects over once I have gone; it will do her profile a lot of good and she will manage it very easily.

Office tomorrow and a leaving do at lunch time so possibly a nice chat with Third P/W whom I have not seen all week long. That will be a high spot of the week. Well, not so high as she's only 5' 2" but she's pretty lovely with it.

5'2" eh? must only come up to your waist!

As for a red postoffice van....better check it has a sun roof to stick your head out of!

Maybe a post office bicycle would be safer.

sounds good, maybe one of those with the long front forks to stretch you long legs out!!

seriously, great blog, you sound a bit like James Bond type of guy if you ask me, 3rd paragraph woman should count her lucky stars she has such a nice admirer.....

BS5 Blogger said...

Why thank you.

Similarites to James Bond are few:

We both have two arms
We are both single
We both like a decent suit, shirt and tie
One of us works for MI6
One of us has an Aston Martin

I am glad you find this erratic series of posts entertaining. It aims to be harmless and idiosyncratic.

When I see third P/W tomorrow I will throw my bowler hat on to the hat stand from outside the door, then I will stroll in and see if she says 'Jaaaaames!' (well, 'BS5')

Seeya!

I like your style...as you say, all harmless fun and all that, something has to pass the time old chap.....

Good luck tomorrow with the mystery woman.....you never quite know, she may jump on you as you walk through the door!

Glad you are having a good evening.
Is it not your friend Walshy having a laugh?

Hi BS5

This is the real F36, just come online for the first time tonight!

I'm absolutely lost for words why someone would pretend to be me (unless they're really sad and have no life of their own of course - in which case you & I should probably pity them!).

Really good blogs the last couple of days, hope the Royal Mail job comes to fruition (hope you don't have to wear the starched shirts though!).

Hope the sun was shining in HR9 this evening, and hope it continues to shine in BS5 for 3PW time tomorrow.

Have a good day tomorrow
