Is it rude to point out that Andy Murray is happy to expect English support but had to go on a whole charm offensive this year after being asked who he would support at the football a while back and answering 'Anyone but bloody England' (according to Sunday's Observer, anyhow)?
I hope he wins because that is good for Britain and Scotland but I think it's a bit crap and churlish to raise nationalism above patriotism for either one country or any of them who are 'United' in this Kingdom!
Maybe if the miserable **** wins he can spring for a barnet.
Anyhow, good luck to the lad. Come on!
