Why?
Do you suppose they built one for going and one for coming back again?
Apparently this is found on 'on Highway 89A between Bitter Springs and Jacob Lake AZ' - I suppose that must be Arizona, but the web page did not elaborate, in an assumption that America is the centre of the feckin' universe!
Anyhow, smart bridges.
Actually I need to cross some internet bridges to go to visit the other Blogs I have not really looked in on this week.

I'm sorry you didn't know that the U.S. was the center of the universe; we've known for years. ;) I have actually driven on the bridge in question and can answer your query. It's an amazing view of the Colorado River from WAY above it... one of the bridges is a walking bridge the other is a driving bridge (I'm assuming that the walking bridge is the old one that doesn't carry the cars anymore). But if you want to see impressive you should look up the Hoover Dam Bypass bridge they are working on... that's a piece of work. -C.
Thank you kindly! I had a look at the bridge you wrote about; impressive indeed! Thanks for looking in.
BS5
Ah, BS5 you should know we are the center of the universe by now! Look how everyone watches every move we make. ;)
