How you doin'?
My week is sign-posted by attractive women!
My friend Helen is coming over for dinner and to stay one night this week, and we will have a great old catch up. On Thursday I am at my local Vicarage for our Vicar's birthday, and she does not look her age, and then there is the pleasant and unfolding intrigue of she who has become known as 'third paragraph woman' in the office. More on this last one if news emerges, and that is down to me (and a bit of courage!)
I am also driving a van to Birmingham but that's not until tomorrow.
Euro 2008 was on all weekend but I can't get excited about it as we are not in it - not very sportsmanlike but there it is.

I can't wait for news on the third paragraph woman. You have kept that secret and I had suspected something was up! (that didn't come out right!)
Do tell all, sounds like a great week for you.
Oh and Helen...do expand on this one too. I know I'm nosey!
Have a brilliant day :)
I am RIGHT there on the sad Euro situation. I am not sure if P can even bring himself to watch. Such a sad boy.
I am also with Sububia, we need details please.
What are you girls *like* for detail?! Third Paragraph woman works in the office I work in, and I have fancied her for ages but assumed she was married so never took the thought out of the box. Anyhow, turns out she is not married one bit and is single, so I have been chatting a little bit this last week, and texting. Do you need more detail than this comprehensive report?
My gorgeous friend Helen toasted me when I said 'Is there any way at all you could have more than 7 questions about this situation?' . Apparently she does.
I don't know!
Helen is a fine and gorgeous friend of mine who is having chap issues. We have been pals for a few years and used to work together. She is coming over for dinner, chat, space and solace. She is about five ten, maybe five eleven and she is witty, vivacious, bright and attractive.
Ooo, looks like you may have 2 options there!!
Chatting and texting....sounds promising!
Husband thought I was married when we first met until I let it slip that I was single, you know the rest!
And if Helen is coming for dinner then it is *not* just to cry on your shoulder, believe me!
OMG I've just read your post again and she's staying over! Get a grip man for goodness sake!! ;)
Suburbia, I think the Helen thing is all entirely platonic! I am dead fond of her, I have told her I think she's a fab and pretty lass, but she's in a fix and staying a night or two coz she needs space and a pal with no complex sub-tone. Do I find her attractive? Yes! Do I think along such lines - no! She's an A list girl who needs a man she can trust - that's it!
You are definatly a gentleman and she should be (I'm sure she is)very greatful to have you as a friend.
You are having too nice a time!
Hope you blog soon! :)
