Go Barack!
And now it becomes interesting! Reagan and Bush had much more of a pop at each other in 1980 but Bush became his VP. Should Hillary get it? I think not - get her out there as Sec of State or in charge of Health.
Back to work for me after two days off and a great 4-dayer.
And welcome back to Suburbia who has returned to the Blogsphere from her hols!

Yeah, I thought Sec of State too -- but can he announce that now? After all, he has not won yet, so it might look like hubris.
The press is saying she wants the VP slot, but I find that surprising -- I cannot imagine it would work out ok. But in the end Obama's got to do what makes him most electable -- so does she harm or help him? I guess she would help him win -- but maybe overpower him on the ticket. It's a tough situation. Even though you don't like her, 19 million people voted for her, and that's got to be counted somehow.
All top political drama anyhow.
Oh.. that comment was me (as you likely worked out) but it came up an 'anonymous'
Yea! Now the really hard stuff starts though. Those moderate Repiblicans like McCain as well as the Dems that are on the fence. Obama has some serious campaigning ahead of him.
Hi, Scargosun -- Yes, agreed; I quite respect moderate McCain. He's not the problem -- it's the rest of the Republicans who will do the really vicious work. I have Fox News here in my apartment, and I watch it a lot -- just amazed at the anger of the Republicans, how they seem to shout shout shout all the time. Those are the people who Obama needs to be ready for...
Hi Bert, JF Snork and Scargo' - I agree that 19 million crazy people went for Hills and they need to be heard, folded in and enfranchised. I do think Hills should be in the Govt but not on the ticket.
I also care for McCain but not his awful party!
Should be a good event.
Thanks for the welcome back!
Did you have a good week?
