And lastly..a moving picture of Ireland!

Weyhey! Seamus has a huge garden that has seeded and grown since I was last there a year ago helping plant the new hedges - we all had a go at cutting the lawn and larking about on a tractor - this was me after a quick lesson and just getting into a stride of perfect stripes. The belching man is Walshy - incisive commentary at 16 seconds in!

I look pretty gangly on this tractor. It's quite big but I am very skinny and all legs!

I hope this vid' works; it's my first go at the flicks on a blog post!

I am a day back into work as I write this post though sadly today, I was informed I only have 4 weeks more in my role - but then that was always a possibility hanging over my tenure. A bloody shame as the year has seen Midas like success in the projects I have been given, and of course no more 3rd paragraph woman :(

Bummer of a news clip!

Very nice video... looks like me mowing the 'rents field when I get up north.

Cool!

Hey ho, life could be worse and on we go...one has to try to see the positives in everything. They are quite well hidden in this case but I refuse to be depressed!

How are the super powers this week?

:)

Super powers are good... speedy powers have been deployed numerous times to get some crunch work done under the wire. goofy grin

That was a great way to start the morning!!Fab vid.
Really bad news about the job, after such a good weekend too, it's awful how that can happen.(I'll never get my guided tour of the garden centre now!) seriously though I'm very fed up for you.

How was your day?
I read a bit flippant on last comment don't I? Must have been the effect of seeing you on that lawn mower!!

you weren't a bit flippant, you were kind and supportive and I was touched! The day was okay and I had integrity in my self and my colleagues but no passion for making it happen anything like 24hrs previously. Inevitable but I will remain pro-fesh for the remaining 4 weeks!

I am commenting and posting from rural Herefordshire tonight.

Well, I hope your mum looks after you like you deserve and makes it just a bit better.

She did. Flowers by my bed too! And cut from the garden this evening, no less.

Going to bed early tonight. Burning candle at both ends at the moment and I have a girls night tomorrow (surprise 40th)! Can't think what to wear!!!

I like the video. A little worried about your attire in doing so though. A jacket?!

Very sorry to hear about the job news. Aren't they supposed to give a little more time than 4 weeks in the UK?

What was wrong with the jacket? It was early evening and pre-dinner drinks were apparent. Is that such bad form?
