Leonard Nimoy at No.1.
I quite like Britain's Christmas no. 1, and it always makes me think of The West Wing because I heard it there first as incidental music to some unfolding scene or other. It is no.1 because of I'm an X Factor get me out of here, a show I never ever tuned into. Anyhow, it's a nice enough ditty.

Did you know it was writen originally with 33 (I think) verses? Don't think I could stand it for that long!
The Jeff Buckley version is better. oh, and the version in Shrek.
The Shrek version was by Rufus Wainwright, whom I adore...I do love this version as I am a soul/motown fan...
Merry Christmas!!
Thank you, are you G&L Rachel, by chance? Happy Christmas back.
oops... looks like someone had already said that in an earlier comment... but still-
merry christmas and happy new year
ooh, love it beautiful song. Isn't this the part when CJ's secret service guy gets it? That's what it makes me think of... that was a sad part. She totally didn't deserve that. Hmm, I'm gonna have to watch for it. I particularly like when YoYo Ma performs during the episode where Josh is dealing with his PTSD. 'Course I just think West Wing rocks all around.
oh happy late christmas
Hi there - great West Wing recall! Happy Christmas back to you and a Christmas x
