As part of my development and learning at work, this Friday I am visiting a distribution warehouse. How exciting is that? Lorries, logistics, picking, conveyer belts, noise and drama! And I get paid!
My firm has a healthy 22 store Operation spread right across the UK in pretty remote places. Our distribution is handled by a major player and I am off to see them! At our Store conference later in the year I need to deliver a piece on deliveries and this visit is in support of that task.
I think I will take my diggie camera and get some top spod action digitised for this blog!

Can't wait ;)
You know you love it!
Always........
It sounds most exciting.
Today I was listening to a podcast from the Scientific American. It was about a bunch of scientists in Panama. One part of it was about how this one scientist had his favorite leaf, on a tree. It was a long-lived leaf, nine years, and after the first few years he and some fellow scientists got into the habit of bringing a birthday cake on the anniversary of the day he first recorded the leaf.
I just mention it.
You wag, you...!
I could see that - a fave leaf.
This evening I am drinking your nice English beer that you bought me (several bottles of) and marinading roast lamb for tomorrow night...
Ha!
PS: Did you see the new consortium has been approved for new lock gates to widen the Panama Canal - now there's a whole lock full of top spod action and stats!
Top Panamax action.
