We can't comment...

Today after a couple of episodes of The West Wing, and numerous web searches and TV spots on the US election these last weeks, I have been reading this website! I was quite surprised it existed, and I must write and compliment them on some of their techniques, techniques honed here also in BS5 when I am on 'Principal Protection' detail in and about the locale.

I wonder if they will take me on after my recent failure to secure a short term office job in north Bristol.

I suppose I'm playing the equivalent of a "gringo" here, much as I am in the Southwest of the newly recovered U.S.A., but what is a BS5?

it might be worth noting (if you don't already know) that other than protecting the President and such the major role of the Secret Service is in counterfeiting. Or rather keeping people from counterfeiting, that's what most Secret Service members do. Only the elite guys get to throw their bodies in front of Presidents.

Why thank you! How is South Dakota this fine Friday?

cold... We woke up to 10 degree's Fahrenheit which is (let me look) -12.2 in Celsius, that makes it sound a lot worse but it was still cold enough to haul in some wood and build some fires.

How's the Island?

Hi! We are in for a nippy weekend and a spot of snow, apparently!

Do you get snow very often? We haven't had more than a slight dusting yet, but the other side of South Dakota (over by Mt. Rushmore) got 4 feet a few weeks ago!

Hi - not so much as you'd get excited about it. I am in Bristol 2 hours west of London and it's the warmer end of the Island. All the snow is in Wales and Scotland, really! Just a dusting here most times.

We used to live in Phoenix, Arizona where it never gets below 70*F in the day and frequently goes above 115*F. When it so much as rained drivers would start inching their way down the roads as if the water was all going to turn to ice in that very instant. It was very frustrating.

When I was in England last April we flew in the day after it had snowed all over London and everyone was really excited to have so much snow. We got a chuckle out of watching the little one's trying to build snowmen from 1/8inch of snowfall.

Bristol... hmm, haven't been there yet, but I've been up in Cardiff and at Plymouth as well.

Plymouth is a nice place - did you see the steps and the waterside where we left to come to you?
