I didn't have to. I ened up going at lunch and there was no line at all. I figured they wouldn't be considering what it looked like in the morning. I live in a small residential neighborhood so it was nothing like the lines in Philly or NYC.
It's been so incredible over here. Truly amazing. Election night was like New Years Eve... and what a metaphor. People were hollaring and cheering all over the streets. Honking, hugging strangers everywhere, high fiving and generally rejoicing ALL OVER THE CITY, long into the night. No nastiness or shenanigans anywhere, it was a wonderful evening.
Great! I think it's a top result for America, and America's standing in the world. What a measured, reasonable chap Barack O is - and he has humility. Can't wait for the man to start and I hope he has a deserved and relaxing beer this Friday night.

Many of us (ok most of us) are very, very happy today. :)
Great stuff! Was it fun queuing to vote?
