Shiny stuff

It's bin day here in BS5 - like much of the UK, BS5 is on a 2 weekly collection, which suits me fine but troubles the busy family next door (but we share bins!)

Usually my road gets the rather fine treat of 3 lorries coming down the street in succession, and that's cool. Today however it was just the one...but it was a super-mega-shiny one. This has to be the cleanest vehicle in Bristol today, and rather dangerously I checked out its age as it went past - three years old, not brand new!

It's cooler than the shiny new Mac Book Pro (17") that I have been looking at and discussing with the chaps. Looks good but is a bit pants really.

Well, we all know that an Apple Mac laptop is compatible with the box it came in and not much else!

That's what I meant - I know this will be dangerously controversial!

I was about to ask the same question.

LOL, If a fight ensues, know that I'm on your side in this one.

wow... those are definitely fighting words. *crosses arms and harumpfs*

Hee hee - hello Cannwin - how have you been? I like your new picture, the baby countdown and the live feed!

Alaina - if we meet up in Ireland let's not talk about this until at least the second of third beer?

I'm doing fairly well, very ready for the winter to be over. I've started daydreaming about sandy warm beaches.

And why thank you, I think I've found a background I can stick with for awhile.

Agreed. Except I don't drink beer. Yeah, pick your stunned self off the floor. You read correctly. Alaina doesn't drink beer.

Alaina- whoooooa! What, not even a little bit?

Cannwin - cold and grey here today after a warm weekend. Also ready for warmer days but they seem far away for now.

Surely your readers are asking what the phrase means, not why are you being sniffy about a Mac (and we know why that is).

So: 'pants' means 'poor quality,' 'useless,' 'rubbish' and so on.

Thanks for writing my blog for me there, duder...

Maybe I need bitch wires, huh?

You in Taiwan or Flip Flop, old stick?

Perhaps your beer is different, I hear rumors you drink it warm... but I'm not sure that would help any. I'll try anything five times. :-)

If I don't like it I'll just use my super powers to change it to something palatable.

That's ok dood. I did think about telling you what's what with the book of CP in the earlier entry, but I restrained myself. Mind you the book I am reading right now is all about how and why that book was created.

You could write a little entry for Dandelion about your top fave houses on the street. Making sure not to use words like 'chick' as she gets right mulish when that happens. And bird.

Cheers dude!

don't listen to him... i am absolutely cool about it if your top fave house is an aviary!
