After a 2nd interview and a presentation yesterday I have been offered a permanent, full time a job today....
Huge relief, a little humility and some quiet thanks here in BS5!
I start in April as an Area Manager for 8 stores spread across England and Wales - on the road but essentially working from home which is novel, new and exciting.

Congratulations. This sounds like it could be a potentially enjoyable job, traveling around. Will you do any staying overnight at places? Make sure you sign up for some of those hotel memberships that way if you stay overnight a lot you'll get points towards free hotel nights... which is always a very nice thing to have lying around.

I shall be working for the RSPB, the UK's 'Royal Society for the Protection of Birds' - managing eight retail outlets on various sanctuaries, wetlands and so forth.
Just need to work out the difference between a chicken and a Canada Goose and I'll be okay!
Indeed an important disticntion to make. Them untamed ornithoids are no joke.
Even when they have been lying in the sun.
