I just saw that satelitte image on the bbc website....impressively cold here BS5..its -14' at the mo...may even get down to -22 they say....dang...the boiler doesnt like it one bit..

That's -14 in Celsius? That's like 7 in Fahrenheit...

I can so one up you. It's -22F here which is -30C.

Last night with the wind chill it 'felt' like -46F (-43C) which is just insane!

The kids school has been closed for three days now.

I can see my house from here.

We're on that one bit of green on the left (weird, west side of Anglsesey has escaped the worst). Positively tropical here today, sleeves rolled up and everything.

It's very cold in Denver, too. We had one whole degree when I woke up this morning, and it hit a balmy high of 35.

Not sure what to do without my beach towel and flip flops. ;/
