He has become one with The Borg.

This is Quaddie my brother's black Labrador.

It seems The Borg have infiltrated the house and Quaddie is now an automaton-canine swiftly despatching his brother Toby and moving on to look for new drones to join the collective .

If you know your Trek lore you'll know one of the first things you see of The Borg is the red laser eye supports
scanning space and time.

Toby is a bit limpy today. I reckon he needs his leg unscrewing and a new attachment added.

Poor chap! Perhaps Q is making a discreet solar plexing beacon in Toby's leg in order to alert Boomer in 1984?

You know, whenever I make Star Trek references people roll their eyes at me. It's nice to know that someone out there in the world 'gets' me. ;)

That has made it a good post then :-) x

Oh, dear! Oh, my!
Wait a minute.
If the Borg really has Quaddie, that would mean the Borg has you, too. They're a "leave no prisoners" kind of outfit.
Bear quickly turns off computer a runs to repair shop, hoping to avoid the (almost) inevitable.
And no, I don't do "sanitised précis of a spank movie." Below my dignity. Humans might; Bear won't.

Fair enough! :)

Now it occurs to me that he is in fact a Labra-borg.
