Well whaddayaknow?
After writing about Burton Menswear in Cheltenham and what I was up to there 10 years ago, quite coincidentally my gaffer from those days sent me a line on Facebook! Sean was my store manager at Cheltenham 104 and he was a sound bloke. Haven't seen him in 5 years! Sean now works for Gloucester Rugby, two words I never thought I'd write on a Bristol Blog. Anyhow, must see the lad for a beer soon.
The pic is Burton's Brent Cross - we used to call them occasionally from the sticks in Chelts and they were thoroughly up their own arses. Hey we were all good and it was a sound job, but we were selling trousers, y'know?
Off to work today and a quick Retail Ops presentation to a gang of managers from our stores, with lunch thrown in for the third time this week!
Mind that waistline now!!
